Dr. Gene Maples just bought this practice (7/2012), and we are very happy to have him taking care of our two dogs.  He and his staff (Caroline and Andrea) are the type of folks who get down on the floor to meet and greet your pets.   We have found that they are pleasant, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and quite skilled in diagnosing and treating as well as providing preventative services.  One of our dogs is older and Dr. Maples offered several options for treatment and was sensitive to our dog’s health and comfort and the cost involved.  We give South End Vet five stars.
